Planned Parenthood Sues Texas Governor Over Orders To Stop Elective Abortions Amid COVID-19

Alright y’all, I think it’s about time to change the name from Planned Parenthood to Abortions R Us.

They fight harder to perform elective abortions than they fight for the preservation of life.

While the nation continues to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, and all non-essential elective surgeries are placed an a halt to preserve medical equipment for emergent care, leave it to Planned Parenthood to find it plausible to sue the Texas Governor over the aforementioned orders.

Fox News reported:

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), along with other pro-choice groups, filed a lawsuit Wednesday against Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Attorney General Ken Paxton and several other state officials over a temporary ban on elective abortion during the coronavirus pandemic.

The ban was issued as part of an executive order by Abbott aimed at conserving medical equipment and the capacity of the health care system after warnings from health care professionals that patients sick with the coronavirus might overwhelm hospital capacity and deplete supplies, such as personal protective equipment for doctors and nurses.

Pro-choice activists say the ban was issued in bad faith and limits access to an “essential” procedure.

Planned Parenthood actually believes that the Governor is attempting to take advantage of the pandemic to push a political agenda by halting the murdering of unborn children… SMH.

Believe it or not, pro-choice-ers, people actually want medical care that helps others survive. It’s a crazy concept, I know.

The fact that Planned Parenthood loves to rant and rave about ‘the woman’s right to choose’ to fit their narrative, then changes it to ‘abortions are necessary for a woman’s health’ during this pandemic is absolutely asinine.

More from Fox News:

Nancy Northrop, the president and CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights, said in a statement that even a temporary ban on abortion would harm women in Texas.

“Abortion care is time-sensitive and essential health care that has a profound impact on a person’s health and life, which is why it is protected as a constitutional right.

Texas is abusing the state’s emergency powers and we are filing suit today to stop it,” she said.

Seriously? That’s like saying a woman’s delayed butt implants are detrimental to her health. Pretty sure we’re only fueling the fire of insecurity, which is the source of the MENTAL health… however, the delay still wouldn’t be considered detrimental to physical health.

Look at this clap-back from Ken Paxton –

More from Fox News:

Paxton’s interpretation of the governor’s order would only allow abortions “medically necessary to preserve the life or health of the mother.”

The suit asks the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas for a restraining order and injunctions to allow Texas abortion providers to immediately continue performing abortions. It also asks that the court eventually rule that Abbott’s executive order and Paxton’s interpretation of it are unconstitutional.

Maybe we should put it in this perspective…

More babies have died from Planned Parenthood than COVID-19. So, which one is a true health crisis here?
